I have been blessed with a pretty good kid. Now I know what you are thinking...yea everybody thinks they have good kids. Well that maybe the case here also.
Dalton has never given me much trouble. When he was a baby he didn't cry when we went out to eat, or shopping. Momma and I hauled him around everywhere and he didn't seem to mind at all. One night Josh and I had gone into Outback to eat and Dalton was in his carrier. He was good and quiet the whole time we were in there. I guess he was about 5 or 6 months old. When we started to leave a man at a booth next to us stopped us and said " Your baby is unbelievably good...you should be proud." I was shocked because for me I never think I am doing anything right. He didn't really go through terrible two's. He has pretty much always minded me well ....with a few exceptions. This weekend has been different. I don't know if it is the medicine or his age. I have caught him twice coloring my hardwood floors with markers...thankfully they are washable markers. The second time I had to spank. Ya know you can't spend thousands of dollars on floors to have artwork on them...no matter how cute it looks. So I spatted his behind and sent him to his chair for time out. After 5 minutes he was sayin "Mommy, I want to be nice." He only calls me mommy when he is in trouble or sleepy...any other time I am Manda. So what do you do but hug and kiss them when you hear something as sweet as that.
Just a few minutes ago while I was typing this he came into the room I am in. He wants to play with the vaccum cleaner hose and wand that is in the floor (yes momma I know it should be in the closet) . He thinks he is helping me. I have asked nicely to stop. So I give him the stop look....he cuts his eyes at me and walks out of the room. Then he peeks around the corner...smiles and giggles at me and says " Wuv you".
All I can say is.....Thank God for kids!!!

AWWW, THAT'S SOOO SWEET!!!
MY KIDS DIDN'T REALLY GO THROUGH THE TERRIBLE 2'S EITHER. SOMETIMES I THINK PARENTS ENCOURAGE THEM TO DO SO!!! HA.
YOU'RE A GOOD MOMMY!
